Serbia: Belgrade Teachers Protest, Demand Education Ministry Respond

Teachers from PULS, an informal community of primary and secondary schools, held a protest on Wednesday, Marc 19, after the Ministry of Education failed to respond to their demands submitted on February 6. University students joined the demonstration to show their support for the elementary and high school teachers. The protesters gathered in front of the Ministry of Education and then marched to RTS, the state-owned radio and television broadcaster.
